Feels like an even heavier Salt HD, but with a stiffer butt section. At $200, though, I would pick the Fenwick Aetos over this rod. The Vice also has a nice cork half wells grip; the cork on the handle of the Vice is very comfortable without a lot of pitting.

The guides are two SiC strippers, but smaller than what we found on the Crux.

Like other Redington rods, the VICE is manufactured in Korea.

My first recommendation would be to test cast anything you might purchase before you buy it.
