As kids, my brothers and I remember watching this movie in the theater and also watching a very dark Betamax copy at that time when that obsolete format came out in the early 80s. 5 of 5 people found this review helpful. Conventional wisdom decrees that Xanadu is a horrible film. This movie is generally regarded as one of the worst movies ever, but it does have some good music, so I gave it one star. And that's what Xanadu does.
